The Camp Lejeune Chapter was chartered October 28, 1974.  The chapter's purpose includes supporting and promoting activities geared toward the social betterment of our communities and enlightenment of our citizenry through.

The active participation, support, and promotion of activities designed to make the lives of former members of the Military and Naval Services, their wives, and their dependents, free from poverty and adversity.  To further this support to other members of all the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

The creation of community social programs designed to combat decay of our inner towns and cities.

Supportive action and suggestion to ELIMINATE and ERADICATE DRUGS from our Armed Forces of the United States, our schools, and our communities.

The sponsorship of scholarship funds for worthy and needy youths at our local colleges, and support the Montford Point Marine Association National Scholarship Program.
