43rd Annual National Convention

The 43rd Annual Convention will be held in Houston, TX the tentative convention dates are July 16-2008, 2008. The hotel for the National Convention -will be the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, located in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville along the St. Johns River.
The convention events will consist of the following events:
July 16 - President’s Night
July 17 - MPMA Fashion Show
July 17 - Chapter Event
July 18 - Queens Coronation Banquet
July 19 - MPMA National Banquet

Hyatt Regency Houston Information
All room assignments are accomplished on a first-come, first-serve basis. The deadline for reservations will be announced soon in order to receive the contracted discounted rate. Room rates will be $109.00 for a single or double. Any reservations made after the deadline are subject to the hotel's normal room rates. When making your reservations, ask for MPMA or Montford Point Marine.

The hotel does not guarantee special housing requests. However, the hotel will do their best to honor all special requests. They will assign specific room types upon check-in based on their availability. All cancellations and changes should be made to Hyatt Regency Houston using the information listed above. This should be completed prior to June 26, 2007. Any attendee's desiring a suite must submit their request in writing or by calling the convention chairman at (910) 455-5393. Suites are limited and are not guaranteed, so don’t delay the room rate for one or two bedroom suites and for the hospitality suite have not been determine.
